Green Office Building Proposal
This proposed 14-story office building in Saint Paul was part of the Lafayette Yards master plan. As part of the developed master plan, the mixed-use neighborhood of Lowertown includes a new ballpark for the Saint Paul Saints, a soccer stadium, commercial space and housing.
The 272,000 square foot office building design includes a double-height green space between floors and a semi-transparent skin that allows for passive solar heating. The design also includes green building systems, high-efficiency lighting and waste-water conserving fixtures to protect occupant health, improve worker productivity and reduce environmental degradation.
